Primary Processing Maintenance Coordinator
Are you a hands-on leader with strong mechanical maintenance expertise and a knack for organisation? Taranakipine is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Maintenance Team. This is your chance to lead, motivate, and make a real impact to continually improve our plant reliability.
About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will:
- Work alongside each of our four maintenance teams on a 4 days on / 4 days off roster for the first three months to gain a deep understanding of our operations.
- Transition into the Maintenance Coordinator role, working Monday to Friday, where you’ll oversee maintenance activities, ensure equipment reliability, and drive improvement.
- Encourage and empower your team while leading from the front when necessary to achieve high standards and foster teamwork.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment. (Sawmilling or Timber Industry experience would be nice but not essential)
- Strong organisational and computer skills (experience with CMMS systems would be great – we use Workmate).
- A natural leader who can motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
