Maintenance Fitter

Taranakipine is an industry leader in value added wood products and we’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Maintenance team.

About the role:

You’ll carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across two operational sites, helping ensure plant and machinery operate safely, reliably and efficiently. You may also assist with new plant installations.

Shift pattern:
12‑hour rotating shifts – 4 days on / 4 days off
(5:30am–5:30pm and 8:00am–8:00pm)

What we’re looking for:

• Positive and can-do attitude
• Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Fitter‑Turner or similar
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems
• Reasonable welding ability
• Experience with heavy industrial, rotating equipment
• Strong commitment to health and safety
